Smaller paths connecting the old Tosando (Eastern Mountain) Road with the Hokurikudo Road that led to the Sea of Japan.
The paths crossed over ridges on the shoulder of Mt. Kamuriki, continued across our city before connecting with the Hokurikudo Road at the Zenkoji Plain.
Travelers along these paths would proclaim the beauty of the moon as viewed from here leading to this area becoming famous for moon-viewing.
